Smoking and Diabetes related to each other?

We are aware that smoking causes type – 2 diabetes. Smokers are likely to cause 30 / 40 % Type – 2 diabetes than are non-smokers. It doesn’t matter what type of diabetes you suffer as smoking makes it harder to control. There are serious health problems involved if you suffer from diabetes. Smoking and Diabetes are interrelated somewhere.

The risk of smoking:
The dangers of smoking include fatal diseases like heart disease, pulmonary disease (COPD), and various types of cancer. If you smoke and you have diabetes there are high chances of health complications. Smoking directly affects the lungs and cause bronchitis and other respiratory problems. One may suffer lung infection as pneumonia. One may have higher risk of eye diseases like cataracts and glaucoma.
Smoking not affects the lungs but also other parts of the body.

Understand the danger involved in smoking and the first step is to quit smoking. Always make an appointment with your doctor and learn about the treatment. Avoid taking any tobacco products to avoid the risk of any complications from diabetes.
